Kansas City, MO – Travis Kelce, the NFL star widely known for his relationship with Taylor Swift, is expanding his career into Hollywood with a major acting role in Ryan Murphy’s upcoming FX horror series “Grotesquerie.” In the series, Kelce will star alongside Niecy Nash-Betts, Courtney B. Vance, and Lesley Manville. Production for the series has recently begun, with a fall premiere date set.
Details about “Grotesquerie” have been kept under wraps, with only Nash-Betts, Vance, and Manville confirmed as cast members so far. The series is expected to debut alongside the next football season, where Kelce will return to the Kansas City Chiefs following their third Super Bowl win in five years.
This new acting opportunity comes on the heels of Kelce’s hosting gig on “Saturday Night Live” in March 2023 and a cameo appearance on the same show alongside Swift last fall. With his growing global recognition, Kelce has been actively pursuing opportunities in Hollywood, recently signing with CAA to further his acting career.
