Infant’s remains discovered in waste plant

WEST PALM BEACH, FL – The remains of an infant were discovered in a waste plant in Palm Beach County, Florida, according to local law enforcement. The horrifying find was made on April 2 at the Solid Waste Authority of Palm Beach County, by a worker who immediately reported the situation.

During a press conference that was held on April 3, West Palm Beach Police spokesman Mike Jachles confirmed that the remains were indeed human and believed to be those of an infant. The police have been diligently searching the area, even combing through the garbage onsite for hours, in an attempt to find any additional remains.

As part of their ongoing investigation, authorities are now reviewing surveillance footage and tracking the movement of trucks in and out of the facility. The infant’s remains are currently in the care of the medical examiner’s office for a comprehensive examination.
