Kentucky woman goes on shooting rampage, killing her husband and sister

JAMESTOWN, KY – A tragic incident unfolded in Jamestown, Kentucky, as a woman embarked on a violent shooting spree, resulting in the death of her husband and sister. The woman, identified as Angela Gosser, 56, was subsequently killed by her brother during a confrontation, according to local law enforcement.

On May 3, Gosser reportedly drove to her brother’s residence armed with a firearm. Darryl Wilson, 58, her brother, was at home and also armed. The siblings’ encounter escalated into a deadly gunfight, which ended in Gosser’s death. Wilson sustained serious injuries and was rushed to a nearby hospital.

However, the full extent of Gosser’s violent rampage became clear only after local authorities were requested to perform a welfare check at the residence of Jennifer Wilson, Gosser’s sister. Jennifer’s family had been unable to reach her and expressed concern for her safety.

Upon arrival at the Russell County home, law enforcement officers found Jennifer Wilson deceased in the driver’s seat of her Toyota Camry, having suffered fatal gunshot wounds to the head. Authorities believe that prior to the confrontation at her brother’s home, Gosser had encountered Jennifer and fired multiple shots at her through the vehicle’s passenger side.

In addition to her sister, Gosser’s husband, Larry Gosser, was also found dead on the same evening. Larry, a retired Sergeant from the Kentucky Department of Fish and Wildlife, was reportedly working on a tree on his property when his wife shot him.

Investigations into the incident are ongoing, with detectives actively pursuing leads. The motive behind the killings remains unknown.
