The announcement confirmed that 21-year-old Bo Bragason will portray Princess Zelda, and 16-year-old Benjamin Evan Ainsworth will take on the role of Link. This film marks the first live-action interpretation of the beloved series, although an animated television adaptation aired in 1989.
