Man arrested at casino for his wife’s murder

LAS VEGAS, NV – Arthur Guty Jr., a 55-year-old Pennsylvania man, has been apprehended in a Las Vegas casino following the gruesome discovery of his wife’s body at their Pennsylvania home. Nicole Zambrano, Guty Jr’s wife, had been reported missing a week prior and was later found dead at their Uniontown residence.

Guty Jr. was carrying $100,000 in cash upon arrest. Uniontown Police Department officials had located Guty Jr by tracking his mobile phone’s signal to Las Vegas. Fayette County District Attorney Mike Aubele believes that Guty Jr. planned to flee the states with the hefty sum to elude any responsibility for what had transpired.

Uniontown Police Department’s Lt. Thomas Kolencik informed reporters that the cause of Zambrano’s death was a gunshot wound inflicted on a crucial part of the body.

Authorities are eagerly seeking to expedite Guty Jr’s extradition to Pennsylvania; he currently stands charged with criminal homicide and aggravated assault.

The missing person’s report for Nicole Zambrano was filed by her colleagues at Nemacolin Woodlands Resort, as she had uncharacteristically missed several days of work.

This incident led the Uniontown Police Department to initiate an investigation, beginning with a welfare check at Zambrano’s home. Lt. Thomas Kolencik recalled Guty Jr’s inability to account for his wife’s whereabouts, stating, “He [Guty] couldn’t explain the whereabouts of his wife and when he did give us information it wasn’t accurate.”

The Police Department is now attempting to secure an arrest warrant for Guty Jr. following Monday night’s tragic revelation.
