Man arrested for trying to kill porn star in jealous rage

LOS ANGELES, CA – A California man was arrested last month after allegedly attempting to run over a porn star and assaulting him with a golf club in a jealous rage, according to police reports.

James Gosselin, 26, reportedly rammed his truck into the back of Bradley Hamilton’s motorcycle on April 2. The incident stemmed from Gosselin’s anger over Hamilton filming an adult scene with Gosselin’s ex-girlfriend, identified only as “Gia,” according to the Los Angeles District Attorney’s Office.

Hamilton told detectives that after Gosselin struck his motorcycle, causing him to lose balance, he saw Gosselin try to cover his face with a ski mask before exiting the truck with a golf club. Gosselin swung the club multiple times, hitting Hamilton once on the lower back, which resulted in bruising, according to the arrest warrant.

The confrontation escalated when Hamilton tackled Gosselin and punched him, fracturing his orbital bone. Police arrived shortly after and detained Gosselin, who admitted to owning the ski mask, golf club, and an illegal firearm found in his truck. He was taken to the hospital for treatment and later released for unspecified medical reasons.

Following his release, Hamilton received a threatening text from Gosselin, who claimed he was out of the hospital and looking for him. Hamilton mentioned that Gosselin had a reputation for carrying a weapon.

A mutual friend of Gosselin and Gia informed police that Gosselin had been upset since his breakup with Gia in February and was particularly disturbed by her relationship with Hamilton. Gosselin allegedly told Gia he intended to wait for Hamilton, murder him, and dispose of his body.

Gosselin was arrested on April 4 and charged with attempted murder, two counts of assault with a deadly weapon other than a firearm, and illegal possession of a loaded gun in public. He posted a $1 million bond the following day, according to jail records.
