Manhunt underway for mother suspected of murdering two children

COLORADO SPRINGS, CO – A 35-year-old woman from Colorado Springs, Kimberlee Singler, is currently the subject of a manhunt by local and federal authorities. Singler is suspected of the murder of her two young children and the attempted murder of a third.

According to the arrest warrant issued by the city, Singler faces charges of murder, attempted murder, and child abuse. She was last seen on Christmas Eve, with the arrest warrant being issued two days later.

The case began on December 19 when Colorado Springs police responded to a 911 call alleging a burglary at an apartment complex. Upon arrival, they discovered the bodies of Singler’s two children, a nine-year-old girl and a seven-year-old boy.

Singler and her 11-year-old daughter were also found at the scene, both injured. They were immediately transported to local hospitals for treatment.

As the investigation developed, it was revealed that the initial burglary report was unfounded. The FBI has since joined the search for Singler, as confirmed by Vikki Migoya from the agency’s Denver office.
