Mass shooting at birthday party leaves 4 dead

KING CITY, CA – A suspected shooting at a birthday party in King City on Sunday evening has left multiple people dead, reports King City Police Department. An official communication reveals that eleven individuals fell victim to the gun violence.

King City law enforcement confirms that a minimum of four people, comprising one woman and three men, were fatally shot during the tragic event that occurred on N 2nd Street, in close proximity to Lynn Street’s intersection. The police ascertained that all casualties were adults.

Natividad Hospital received three patients from the crime scene. Based on Police Chief James Hunt’s statement, the chaos ensued when three masked figures, wearing dark clothes, exited a vehicle in front of a residence and began firing shots.

The police investigation team found three male victims in the home’s front yard, who were officially declared deceased. A female victim, who had initially been taken to Mee Memorial Hospital, succumbed to her injuries there. The remaining seven victims were transported to Natividad Medical Center for emergency medical attention, as per the King City Police Department.

Investigators have put out an appeal to locate a silver Kia car possibly associated with the horrific incident.

Though not confirmed, it is speculated that a birthday party was in progress at the time of the shooting, which took place around 6 p.m. In a recent social media post, the King City Police issued a warning describing the suspected assailants as armed and perilous, while their identities have not been established as yet.

Numerous law enforcement agencies have been coordinated to respond to this unfortunate incident.
