Outdoor Retail Giant Bass Pro Shops Doubles Down with Super Bowl Ad

MEMPHIS, TENNESSEE – Outdoor retail giant Bass Pro Shops is making a splash with its Super Bowl ad, which will also be airing during the upcoming Daytona 500.

The ad, focusing on Bass Pro Shops’ Tracker boats, highlights the company’s long-standing tradition of bringing families and friends together through their popular boats. These boats are not only sold factory-direct, but also through select dealers globally, all of which are made at a facility located in the Missouri Ozarks.

Founder Johnny Morris emphasized the company’s commitment to delivering value to their customers, especially during uncertain times. Morris expressed that with 115 million people tuning in, there is no better opportunity to reach more individuals in the peak of their season than the Super Bowl.

The company’s message aims to inspire customers to embrace the outdoors and create lasting memories on the water. Additionally, Bass Pro Shops hopes that investing to share their positive message with the world will lead to increased opportunities for their dealerships and their employees.

Bass Pro Shops has made it a point to emphasize the preservation of wildlife habitat and the introduction of families to the outdoors since its establishment in 1972. This year marks the fourth time the company has run ads during the Super Bowl in the past four years but also, the ad will be aired during the upcoming Daytona 500 on Sunday, February 18 at 2:30 p.m. ET on FOX.

Just like other Super Bowl ads, the 30-second ad from Bass Pro Shops will come with a hefty price tag of roughly $7 million. This is the same price as last year’s Super Bowl commercials, but it represents a 50% increase from 2019. Despite the cost, the company is confident that the exposure will be well worth the investment.

While it may not be the only brand looking to boost its profile through Super Bowl ads, Bass Pro Shops is seizing the opportunity to connect with a massive audience and showcase the affordable luxury of owning a Tracker boat.
