Police looking for man who committed multiple assaults on women

LONG BEACH, CA – Authorities are on the hunt for a man believed to be responsible for two separate attacks on women in Long Beach, California. The suspect is accused of assaulting a woman who was pushing a baby in a stroller, followed by another attack on a 60-year-old woman, all occurring in broad daylight.

The first incident took place on Thursday morning near 21st Street and Locust Avenue. Surveillance footage obtained by local media outlets captured the moment when the suspect struck the woman from behind with an unidentified object while she was out with her baby. The child, fortunately, was unharmed.

The second assault occurred less than three hours later and just two streets away. The victim, a 60-year-old woman, was not robbed but had to be rushed to the emergency room due to the severity of her injuries.

The Long Beach Police Department has released images of the suspect, describing him as a Hispanic man in his mid-20s, between 5’5″ and 5’7″ tall, sporting a light mustache. He was last seen in a white hat, a turquoise sweater over a black hooded sweater, blue pants, sneakers, and carrying a black bag and a dark-colored backpack.

In response to these incidents, the police department has increased patrols in the area and is actively searching for the suspect. Local residents, informed of the attacks, expressed their concerns and fear, with some reluctant to leave their homes.
