Riot Games Unveils 2XKO, the Ultimate Tag-Fighter in the World of League of Legends – Coming 2025!

LOS ANGELES, California – Riot Games, known for their popular game League of Legends, has unveiled the official name of their upcoming fighting game set in the League of Legends universe. The game is now called “2XKO” and is set to be Riot’s first venture into the fighting game genre.

Formerly known as “Project L,” 2XKO is a 2v2 tag-fighter that has been making waves in the fighting game community since its announcement in 2021. The game made a playable appearance at EVO last year, generating excitement among gaming enthusiasts.

The announcement also came with updates on the game’s development. According to executive producer Tom Cannon, the team working on 2XKO has grown significantly, and the game has come far enough in its development to be discussed in a more official capacity.
