Teens find woman’s dead body in plastic container

FORREST CITY, AR – On Tuesday afternoon, a shocking discovery was made by two teenagers in Arkansas when they found a woman’s body stored in a large plastic container. The St. Francis County Sheriff’s Office confirmed the incident, which took place about five miles from Forrest City on County Road 731.

St. Francis County Sheriff Bobby Mays stated that the nude female body, yet to be identified, was found in a 50-pound capacity plastic container. “The body was partially decomposed,” Mays said. Officials believe that the body may have been in the container for several weeks.

The two teenagers reportedly found the body while riding their four-wheelers in the area and later shared the discovery on social media. At this point, an individual contacted Sheriff Mays, claiming that the woman might be his mother, who was last seen around four weeks ago. Interestingly, the man had not reported her missing. In response, a DNA sample was acquired from the man to establish the identity of the deceased woman and determine the cause of death.

One local resident, who preferred to remain anonymous, shared his disbelief about the horrifying discovery. The man claimed to have noticed the container himself while on a routine walk three days prior but dismissed it as ordinary roadside debris.

Sheriff Mays has assured the public that investigations are actively ongoing, and the case is being treated as a potential homicide. Both the plastic container and the body have been sent to the State Crime Lab for further analysis.
