TOKYO, Japan – Super Smash Bros. Ultimate fans have reason to celebrate with the game’s latest update, bringing it to version 13.0.2. The update includes functionality to support the highly-anticipated Sora amiibo, set to release on February 16th.
The official notes from Nintendo state that the update includes compatibility with the Sora amiibo, which marks the end of the Super Smash Bros. Ultimate amiibo line. This update, coming after version 13.0.1 in December 2021, may potentially be the final one for Ultimate following Sora’s addition as the last DLC fighter in October of that year.
In addition to the update, the game also saw new content to kick off the year with fresh Spirit Board events. The inclusion of spirits from Zelda, Tears of the Kingdom, Xenoblade 3, Splatoon 3, Pikmin 4, 13 Sentinels, Hades, and Power Pros has given players plenty to look forward to.
