Sylvester Stallone Under Investigation for Alleged Disparaging Comments on ‘Tulsa King’ Set

Los Angeles, California – Paramount is currently investigating claims against Sylvester Stallone for allegedly using derogatory language towards background actors on the set of the TV series “Tulsa King.” According to sources, Stallone is accused of making disparaging remarks such as calling performers working as extras “ugly,” a “tub of lard,” and a “fat guy with a cane.”

The allegations first surfaced on social media, prompting an internal investigation by the studio. Although no formal complaints have been filed against Stallone or the director, human resources became aware of the accusations through social media posts. Craig Zisk, the director and executive producer of “Tulsa King,” has denied the allegations of insults being hurled.

The controversy surrounding Stallone has gained traction on social media, with television writer Julie Benson sharing screenshots of the alleged insults. Additionally, a casting agent and a casting agency reportedly resigned from the show due to the toxic work environment described in the email shared by Benson.

Despite the ongoing investigation, production on Season 2 of “Tulsa King” continues without any disruptions. One production source emphasized Paramount’s commitment to maintaining a fair and respectful workplace, ensuring the safety and happiness of everyone on set. The matter is being taken seriously, with interviews being conducted with cast and crew members.

Representatives for Stallone and the director have not responded to media inquiries, and SAG-AFTRA, which represents background actors, has not commented on the situation. “Tulsa King” is produced by 101 Studios, the same company behind Paramount’s successful series “Yellowstone,” in collaboration with MTV Entertainment Studios.
