Authorities responded to a call for a fight in progress near the intersection of Norgate Drive and Claudine Drive, where they found a juvenile female with a severe head injury. The victim was rushed to the hospital in critical condition. A 15-year-old female suspect was arrested on assault charges and is being held by the St. Louis County Family Court.
The St. Louis County Prosecuting Attorney, Wesley Bell, expressed his disgust at the video, calling it “sickening” and “difficult to watch.” Bell deferred jurisdiction over the case to the juvenile court system and expressed hope for the victim’s recovery, labeling the incident as “heartbreaking.”
