Two adults, one infant found dead in mysterious murder-suicide

LOS ANGELES COUNTY, CA – A series of deadly incidents unfolded across Los Angeles County in the early hours of Monday morning, leaving three people dead in what appears to be a complicated murder-suicide case.

The series of events began when residents in a Woodland Hills neighborhood reported an intense dispute between Jaelen Allen Chaney, 29, and a woman in the early morning hours. Looking out from her apartment, one neighbor noticed a smattering of blood originating from Chaney’s flat with a trail leading towards the elevator.

The terrified neighbor immediately alerted her father who called 911 and later discovered Chaney dead on the scene, a victim of apparent stabbing.

The woman involved in the dispute, identified as Chaney’s partner, reportedly sped away from the apartment with their two children in her car, crashing through the parking lot’s security gate in the process. A little over an hour later, the California Highway Patrol received a call about a horrifying incident on the northbound 405 Freeway in Culver City.

There, they found an infant girl deceased on the highway and a nine-year-old girl with minor injuries. The relationship between the two incidents became clearer but the sequence of events remained a mystery.

Around half an hour after the shocking discovery on the freeway, a fatal car crash in Redondo Beach brought another grim development. A woman had lost her life when her car, a black sedan, collided with a tree on Pacific Coast Highway at Vincent Street.

While police have yet to confirm any identities beyond that of Mr. Chaney, they are treating these incidents as interconnected. The full details of this complex case remain under investigation.
