MILWAUKEE, WI – A violent incident in Milwaukee on Sunday left two individuals dead and two others injured, following what authorities believe was an exchange of gunfire. The tragic event is thought to be the result of domestic violence and a physical dispute.
The Milwaukee Police Department reports that the fatal victims were a 21-year-old, who succumbed to their injuries at the scene, and a 28-year-old, who later passed away in the hospital. The circumstances surrounding their deaths are still under investigation.
In addition to the fatalities, two others were wounded in the incident. One individual, whose age has not been disclosed, is currently in critical condition due to gunshot injuries. The other, a 23-year-old, suffered less severe wounds and is expected to recover. Both are currently in police custody, along with a 25-year-old who was present during the incident but escaped injury.
Authorities are still piecing together the events that led to the violent episode. They are actively seeking additional suspects and are preparing to submit their findings to the Milwaukee County District Attorney’s Office for review and potential charges.
