Woman loses both feet after boyfriend shoved her onto subway tracks

NEW YORK, NY – A 29-year-old woman lost both of her feet in a horrific subway incident in Manhattan. According to police, her boyfriend allegedly shoved her onto the subway tracks, where she was struck by an oncoming train.

The incident happened at Fulton Street Station on Chambers Street when a southbound No.3 surface train was pulling into the station around 10:25 a.m. Saturday. In the heat of their argument, her boyfriend purportedly pushed her onto the tracks, resulting in a life-altering injury.

An eyewitness recounted how he tried to keep the woman calm in the aftermath of the incident, noting that she even reassured him that she was planning to visit a spa. Unfortunately, he could only stay with her for about five minutes before the arrival of the police to the scene.

In a swift development, the boyfriend reportedly exited the station immediately after the incident and is currently being sought by the police.

In an unrelated incident less than an hour later, a man jumped onto the tracks in Midtown and was tragically hit by an oncoming train. The incident occurred at Seventh Avenue and West 53rd Street around 11:30 a.m., but no additional details were immediately available.
