Four people killed in triple murder-suicide

Phoenix, AZ – A horrifying murder-suicide incident unfolded in Phoenix on Monday, resulting in the death of three adults and a minor. According to Phoenix police, the events spanned across two separate shootings, which are believed to be interconnected.

Shortly after 11 a.m., law enforcement was summoned to a business at 27th Avenue and Deer Valley Road due to reports of gunfire. Upon arrival, the officers found a man and a woman who were both suffering from gunshot injuries. While initial attempts were made to administer medical treatment, the male victim succumbed to his injuries on the spot and the woman was rushed to a nearby hospital where she later died.

Eyewitness testimony pointed investigators in the direction of a man who had arrived in a vehicle at the scene prior to the incident and subsequently departed. The man was tracked down by investigators to a residence near 22nd Avenue and Utopia Road.

On entering the home, the law enforcement officers discovered two deceased individuals, presumed to be the primary suspect and a minor, as well as a dead dog, all killed by gunshot wounds.

Authorities confirmed that the deceased woman from the initial incident and the alleged suspect were married, while the child found is believed to be their offspring. However, the connection between the male victim from the first scene and the other individuals has not been established.

Based on preliminary findings, officials suggested that the root cause of the shootings might be a “marital dispute.” Victims have been named as 49-year-old Sage Fitz, 12-year-old Baynen Fitz, and 62-year-old Carmen Buscemi while the suspected shooter was identified as 53-year-old Bryan Fitz. The investigation into their shooting-related deaths is ongoing.
