SAN BUENAVENTURA, California – Insomniac Games has unveiled exciting updates for the highly anticipated Marvel’s Spider-Man 2. The company plans to release a major update on March 7, 2024, featuring new suits, New Game+, Ultimate Levels, Golden Gadget styles, and more.
One of the most significant announcements is the introduction of two new suits, which will be available for purchase as part of the Fly N’ Fresh pack from March 7 until April 5. After this period, the suits will be offered for free. The proceeds from the sales of the Fly N’ Fresh pack, which could amount to $1 million, will be donated to the charity organization Gameheads. This organization aims to empower low-income youth and youth of color to thrive in the video games industry.
The update will also include 10 new Photo Mode Stickers and two frames as part of the Fly N’ Fresh pack. Additionally, players can look forward to the Marvel’s Hellfire Gala suits for Peter and Miles, new suit styles, and the ability to customize the color of symbiote abilities. Enhancements to the Photo Mode, time of day options, audio description, and screen reader features will also be part of the update, improving the game’s accessibility options for players.
Damon Packwood, director at Gameheads, shared that the two new suits were inspired by a 90’s b-boy for Miles and 90’s television for Peter. The creative process was a fun experience, as the designers embraced creativity and nostalgia, resulting in a unique and enjoyable design.
